2016 Brockwell Run

Held in honour of the late Maurice Brockwell, this year’s run deviated from past runs by starting at Wesley College in South Perth, instead of the traditional location of Fremantle.

After a prescribed route through the Perth foothills, participants arrived at Whiteman Park and were parked in the prime location directly opposite the Motor Museum of WA, to which participants also received free entry.

For those unaware, Maurice Brockwell was a successful hotelier in Perth, having brought the Irish themed pub to Perth in the late eighties and early nineties. Additionally, Maurice was an avid motoring enthusiast, amassing a small collection of his own exotica and participating in many aspects of the Perth motoring scene, including a stint as President of our very own club.

Our thanks to all of the staff involved in organising this great event and we very much look forward to it again next year.
